I think I just had the perfect weekend. I never thought of it at the time, but when I reflected on it this morning, it was pretty near perfect.

It started with a Saturday arrival in Las Vegas, with my daughter Celeste, son Caleb, (Dave was taking the picture) and my parents who are visiting from Canada.

We did all the great Vegas things – up and down the strip – sight seeing, taking in the grandeur and eating. Then come the evening, that is when the kids settle in to some Pay per view movies, while we checked out some casinos.

Sunday was an early morning rise, more sight seeing, souvenir purchases, FAO Schwartz and the acquarium where we watched one of my favourite things – Sting Rays – they are just so cute.

Some time in the Rainforest cafe, and then a quick trip home – just in time for the Superbowl. We watched the fantastic game between the Steelers (who I used to vote for from my youth crush on Terry Bradshaw and Lynn Swan), against the Arizona Cardinals (who I was voting for because I love Arizona as a State, and they were the underdogs) – as the Steelers used to be against the Dallas Cowboys. I was on the edge of my seat as it appeared Arizona was going to pull it off, until the last 35 seconds were all hopes were dashed.

I of course analyzed the commercials for their effectiveness and marketing appeal, and then stuffed myself of nachos and dolmades (I love Greek food).

It was sunny, warm, and a great time was had by all.

He is a car freak and has even designed his own.

Immediately after the game, I shoved a movie we had delivered from Netflix – 88 minutes with Al Pacino, and rounded off the night tucking the kids in bed, and a jacuzzi tub.

I didn’t check my PC, my iphone, a blackberry, twitter or log into my PC. I did not know about the recession, fires, high speed car chases, or shootings. It was family, fun with a side of marketing. And while I did all of that, my internet marketing company continued to run on autopilot. I had pre planned twitter posts, preplanned emails, and a marketing blast.

I want you to have your perfect weekend. In fact I want them all to be perfect.

Check out what I just put together – and see how you can win this year.
